Healthy kids, healthy tomorrow
Did you know the children being raised today are predicted to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents? Kids today are more obese and unhealtheier than ever. Why? It's certainly not due to lack of love. We do everything for our kids--make sure they go to the best school, get the nicest clothes, take lessons from the best teachers. We get so involved in raising the perfect kids that we don't take the time to look at one of the most crucial elements in their lives--their diet. I'm hoping to change that. The purpose of my blog is help moms make meals kids will enjoy! Some of the meals will be the picture of perfect eating, some not so but all the meals will include fresh ingredients with nothing processed or artifical. If you have a choice, go organic. If not, try to go local. If there nothing local or organic, it's OK. Non-organic veggies are better than none. If you have a picky eater, keep presenting the veggies with no pressure. It sometimes takes up to 15 times for a person to accept the food. I hope you too will learn some new foods and have fun! So are you ready to try to something new? Let's get cooking!

I hope the chicken pox passes on soon. That can't be any fun at all.
